Powering the Show

Powering The Western Idaho Fair Main Stage

The opportunity

The Western Idaho Fair is a significant event that attracts thousands of attendees each year. The fair is known for its vibrant atmosphere, diverse food offerings, thrilling rides, and most importantly, its main stage performances. Held from August 23-27 in 2021, the lineup included renowned artists such as Granger Smith, Nelly, and Jon Pardi.

However, powering such a large-scale event, especially the main stage, is a challenging task. The organizers needed a reliable, efficient, and sustainable power solution that could handle the high energy demands of the performances while also being environmentally friendly. The solution needed to be robust enough to ensure uninterrupted power supply throughout the event, and flexible enough to adapt to the varying power requirements of different performances.

The Solution

At Joule Case, we specialize in providing innovative, reliable, and environmentally-friendly power solutions. For the Western Idaho Fair, we had the opportunity to demonstrate the power and efficiency of our systems in a real-world, high-demand scenario.

The main stage of the fair, hosting performances by renowned artists such as Granger Smith, Nelly, and Jon Pardi, previously relied on a large generator for its power needs. However, this traditional power source was not in line with the fair's commitment to sustainability.

Recognizing this, our team at Joule Case stepped in with a revolutionary solution. We replaced the 175kVA 208 3-Phase Generator with our advanced, high-capacity battery systems. These systems not only met but exceeded the power requirements of the main stage, ensuring a seamless and uninterrupted power supply throughout the event.

Our battery systems provided the necessary flexibility to adjust to the specific power requirements of each performance, ensuring optimal power delivery at all times. Moreover, by switching to Joule Case's battery systems, the Western Idaho Fair significantly reduced its carbon footprint.

This successful collaboration between Joule Case and the Western Idaho Fair demonstrated the capabilities of our power systems in replacing traditional generators, further solidifying Joule Case's position as a leading provider of reliable, efficient, and sustainable power solutions.
